Today's guest is Aidan Chamandy, whose latest deep-dive reporting has triggered fresh questions about "cash-for-access" events held by members of Doug Ford's cabinet.
As Chamandy uncovered, the Progressive Conservatives have raked in over $151,000 from directors and executives of private schools that partnered with public colleges since 2018. Almost one-sixth of the total — $24,300 — came from a single event on March 7, 2022 featuring Colleges and Universities Minister Jill Dunlop that benefited her riding association.
The Premier's response? "I can tell you one thing: no one can influence our government."
