Project Management Update:
June 10, 2010
WM Fares construction team is excited to report that our form work has reached level 700. This completes five slabs since our last report in March. The view of the city continues to be amazing as we are now at an elevation of 96’. The site became a buzz of activity in April with the start of the exterior building ‘envelope’. MacDonnell Welding arrived on site to begin welding the angle iron that is necessary to support the brick install. Wedel Construction arrived to install exterior steel stud and hang exterior drywall, also known as ‘Glas Roc’. As this is going on PMC Roofing was applying ‘torch on’ roofing membrane to seal areas that need water protection behind the brick. This was followed by Darim Masonry applying ‘blueskin’ and laying brick. The brick is complete to level 200 on the north side of the building and well under way on South Park and Brenton Street.
